LKit Systems is a North Carolina software company serving field service businesses. We build and operate FieldKit, an operations platform covering the whole job lifecycle — from the first call through dispatch, completion, invoicing and payment.
We aren't a software company that decided to target the trades. We came at it from the other direction: years of running service businesses, watching good crews lose money to paperwork, and getting tired of platforms that charged more every year while solving less every year.
FieldKit runs real companies today, in production, invoicing real customers. That shapes how we build. Features ship because an office manager needed them this week, and nothing gets called finished until it survives contact with an actual job.
We keep records, not just data. Nothing is hard-deleted. Invoices are versioned. Changes are attributed. When a customer disputes something a year later, the answer is in the system.
We build for the office and the field separately. A dispatcher at two monitors and a tech on a phone in a parking lot need different things. Pretending otherwise is how software ends up unused.
We stay reachable. Support comes from the people who wrote the code.
